I'm going to back up my garrysmod folder. I'm going to do the most desperate thing I can now. I even have these strange missing texture textures on gmbigcity.EDIT 3: I've tried just about everything now. These are taken in singleplayer.I also have missing textures in other maps that strictly use HL2 only.

However, I have the CS:S content from workshop addons, and these addons have worked for giving the textures and whatnot before.I've also validated all of the games' game files.Also, if it helps, I can't see the hand models when I'm using HL2 weapons in multiplayer., and CS:S weapons, when viewed from the thirdperson, are held in between a player model's crotch, not in the hand.Actually, as far as I can tell, there are only two types of hand models now, both custom.

See the screenshots below.I've fixed all games that are in steampipe beta, as in opting into the steampipe beta and converting to steampipe.I own all of the games (hl2, hl2ep1, hl2ep2, l4d2, etc) necessary for common Garry's Mod maps, except CS:S. Note, I'm not talking about EVERYTHING being checkered. Or, in rpsuo, there are small strips of missing checker textures that weren't there before. For example, in the Jailbreak gamemode map newsummer, the cell walls are checkered. So recently I've started to get a lot of small strips or squares of missing textures on maps.

Almost all custom Garry's Mod servers require Counter-Strike: Source installed and mounted.Garry's Mod lets gamers cut loose and be as free with their imagination as they want. If you've done everything above and still see errors/missing textures. (Default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\downloads\server) Open the "downloads" folder and then the "server" folder, Ctrl+A again and delete everything inside.(Default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\addons) Open the "addons" folder, Ctrl+A to select all files in addons and delete them all.(Default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod) Go to your Garry's Mod installation directory.If the above didn't work and you don't mind losing all your Garry's Mod workshop content. Launch Garry's Mod / Let all workshop content download/extract completely before connecting to the server.(See "Downloading" at the bottom of your steam client.) Click "+ Subscribe to all." / Let anything downloading in Steam finish.(If you're having trouble opening console when you launch Gmod, open settings first then hit ~. Open console, paste and enter/run the command without the quotes: "menu_cleanupgmas" / Let it finish.(Check the very bottom for last resort options.) If your game displays this message regarding the map try just unsubscribing and resubscribing to THIS MAP ADDON. If not you may want to look into running those games or reinstalling them with gmod to try to get them to associate with each other. It will show an X no matter what if you're using a texture pack and that's fine usually, but if you have the games installed they should show up checked. Also while we're at it, check the little controller icon at the bottom right of Gmod's title screen to ensure "Counter-Strike Source" shows a check mark and not an X by it.
